Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive weekend reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledgers
- Process bi-weekly payroll including tax calculations and employee benefits
- Prepare month-end financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with weekend payment processing
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation requests
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and QuickBooks platforms
- Collaborate with weekday team members for seamless workflow continuity
Qualifications
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years experience in financial accounting or bookkeeping
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel with pivot table skills
- Proven weekend shift availability (Saturdays and Sundays)
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with error reconciliation expertise
- Effective communication skills for cross-team collaboration
