We're seeking a meticulous professional to manage financial operations during weekend shifts in our Manchester office. This role offers flexibility while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance. You'll play a crucial role in supporting our clients' financial health through weekend processing and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Process weekend financial transactions and reconcile accounts
- Prepare weekend payroll processing and documentation
- Generate monthly financial reports for client review
- Manage weekend accounts payable/receivable workflows
- Conduct weekend bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Support weekend month-end closing procedures
- Maintain weekend financial records in compliance with UK GAAP
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years' experience in finance/accounting
- Proven weekend shift work in accounting environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (SAP)
- Strong understanding of UK tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy standards
