Responsibilities
- Execute accurate month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Process payroll and vendor payments with weekend-specific deadlines
- Prepare financial statements and regulatory compliance documentation
- Manage accounts receivable/payable cycles with weekend processing windows
- Conduct internal audits and financial reviews during weekend shifts
- Collaborate with weekday team for seamless financial operations
- Implement weekend-specific accounting controls and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- CPA or CPA candidacy strongly preferred
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Knowledge of GAAP and Wisconsin tax regulations
