Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, data entry, and bank reconciliations for weekend operations.
- Prepare and post journal entries and adjusting entries as required for the weekly close.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all weekend data is captured.
- Generate financial reports, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations for management review.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with internal policies and GAAP standards.
- Process payroll and expense reports accurately within the weekend timeframe.
- Collaborate with the full-time finance team to ensure seamless operational continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 2+ years of accounting experience preferred; experience with weekend shifts is a plus.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with internal controls and auditing processes.
