Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledger entries
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements weekly
- Prepare month-end financial statements and variance reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company financial policies
- Collaborate with senior accountants during month-end closes
- Implement financial controls and process improvements
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting
- Experience with weekend or shift-based accounting roles
- Advanced Excel skills and data visualization abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, Xero) highly valued
