Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements, cash flows, and credit metrics to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations with clear risk/return analysis for senior management
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early warning signs of deterioration
- Collaborate with commercial lenders to structure optimal credit solutions for clients
- Stay current on industry regulations, economic trends, and risk management best practices
- Develop and maintain robust credit policy documentation and reporting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, financial modeling)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial ratios, and debt capacity analysis
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
