Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Process accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll support
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve billing discrepancies
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with CFO on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required (Bachelor's preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Strong understanding of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Experience with multi-entity bookkeeping and payroll processing
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
