Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Generate monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet)
- Prepare sales tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance
- Oversee bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax season
- Implement process improvements for financial efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Proven experience with multi-client accounting systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Professional certification (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) preferred
