Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and complex general ledger entries
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll coordination
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Implement and optimize financial reporting systems for efficiency
- Collaborate with senior accountants on tax preparation and audit support
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks/Xero
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Expertise in month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong understanding of sales tax compliance (multi-state)
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions accurately
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with construction or manufacturing industries a plus
