Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with multi-entity structures
- Oversee full-cycle accounts payable/receivable for 15+ client portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow analyses, and budget variance reports
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for diverse business structures
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks Online, Xero)
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with audit support
- Develop customized financial reporting solutions for client-specific needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance + 5+ years progressive bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance and payroll regulations
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transaction processing
- CPA certification or equivalent accounting designation preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven problem-solving abilities
- Experience in public accounting or financial services firm environment
