Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial statements and journal entries.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process with strict adherence to deadlines.
- Process and verify accounts payable and receivable invoices.
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation.
- Conduct research and analysis of financial data to support business decisions.
- Prepare and organize supporting documentation for audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
