Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and financial reporting
- Oversee AP/AR processes and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy and process improvements
- Prepare tax documentation and coordinate with external auditors
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (NetSuite experience preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or private sector
- Expert proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience in fintech or high-growth startup environments
- Proven ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
