Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger operations and perform month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings and compliance audits.
- Collaborate with department heads to monitor budgets and forecast financial performance.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with GAAP standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience (CPA preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
