Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements for corporate clients
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Lead tax preparation and compliance initiatives for C-Corps, S-Corps, and partnerships
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide strategic financial consulting to client management teams
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Train junior staff on accounting software and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with Big 4 or mid-tier firm
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven track record managing complex multi-state tax filings
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Active CPA license required
