Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger: Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Monitor cash flow, process invoices, and ensure timely collection of accounts receivable.
- Compliance & Audits: Assist in internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and ensuring compliance with tax laws.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and implement efficient accounting workflows.
- Payroll Support: Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely employee compensation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certification: CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in full-cycle accounting.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex financial data and present insights clearly.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
