Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
- Prepare and submit accurate tax filings while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing with precision and timeliness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Lead special projects including audits and system implementations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate sector
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, and advanced Excel functions
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
