Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and IRS regulations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with reconciliation accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks and Excel automation
- Support budget forecasting and cost analysis initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven track record of managing full-cycle accounting operations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with SOX compliance and financial audits
- Remote work experience with excellent communication skills
