Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (AK, IRS)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and 401(k) contributions
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare quarterly/yearly reports
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding payroll requirements
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24 hours
- Audit timekeeping systems for accuracy
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience (ADP preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Knowledge of Alaska state tax regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent experience
- PHR or CPP certification preferred
- Experience with multi-state payroll compliance
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
