Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment processing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Assist with payroll preparation and tax document filing.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Ensure compliance with all company financial policies and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks.
- Strong knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
