Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, with precision and speed.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a nightly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Process and prepare payroll for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
- Generate and analyze monthly financial reports, ledgers, and trial balances.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documents.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for easy retrieval of financial records.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify areas for process improvement.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role (1+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Must be available to work the night shift (3:00 PM - 12:00 AM EST).
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
