Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings for Louisiana-based operations
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for financial controls
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security of financial information during night shift operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (CPA preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel with VBA knowledge
- Demonstrated experience with month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Strong understanding of Louisiana state tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
