Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable functions for the night shift.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for night shift employees with strict adherence to deadlines.
- Prepare and post nightly journal entries and financial reports.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation and digital records.
- Respond to financial inquiries from internal stakeholders promptly.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proven proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM or 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect discrepancies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
