Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and efficiency.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting or a recent graduate seeking an entry-level role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is required.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
