Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations for loan committee review
- Monitor existing portfolio for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
- Document all credit analysis activities per internal policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Deep understanding of credit underwriting principles (Sarbanes-Oxley, GAAP)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) preferred
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
