Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs aligned with industry regulations
- Conduct regular risk assessments and internal audits to identify compliance gaps
- Investigate potential violations and recommend corrective actions
- Train staff on compliance policies and regulatory updates
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for executive leadership and regulatory bodies
- Stay current with evolving healthcare/financial regulations (specify industry)
- Collaborate with legal and department heads to ensure alignment with compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or related field required
- 3+ years of compliance experience in regulated industry
- Strong knowledge of federal/state regulations (e.g., HIPAA, SOX, FINRA)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) preferred
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills
- Proficient in compliance software and MS Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
