Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles efficiently
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance reports for leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations across all transactions
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls for financial processes
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Optimize accounting workflows using QuickBooks and Excel automation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines with 100% accuracy
