Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Handle payroll processing on a weekly basis, ensuring all deductions and taxes are calculated correctly.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records of all financial transactions.
- Assist with the preparation of tax documents and year-end audits.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding billing and payments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
