Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial statements.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure timely distribution of payments.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, formatting).
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
