Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing with precision
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and audit activities
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
- Lead special projects including system implementations and process automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Oracle NetSuite) and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience managing month-end closing and financial statement preparation
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate financial insights for stakeholders
