Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and management reports for diverse client portfolios
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings compliance
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for efficiency
- Conduct audits and provide actionable financial insights
- Collaborate with tax professionals for year-end preparations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Excel, payroll software, and financial reporting tools
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client relationships
- QuickBooks certification strongly preferred
