Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank statements
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation
- Process tax filings and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks proficiency required)
- Assist with audits and financial forecasting initiatives
- Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines with high accuracy
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) highly valued
