Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations for Arizona businesses
- Manage payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Proven expertise in reconciling complex accounts and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong understanding of sales tax compliance for Arizona businesses
- Ability to manage competing deadlines with exceptional organizational skills
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) strongly preferred
