Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance reports with executive summaries
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Process payroll using ADP/QuickBooks while handling tax filings and year-end reporting
- Support audits by providing organized financial documentation and schedules
- Implement process improvements for financial workflows and reporting efficiency
- Collaborate with CFO on budget preparation and financial forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting and complex reconciliations
- Familiarity with sales tax compliance (AZ state regulations)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Ability to prioritize urgent deadlines while maintaining 100% accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
