Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous accuracy
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations for PA businesses
- Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with tax professionals during audit preparation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/Online and MS Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Strong knowledge of PA tax regulations and sales tax filing
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet urgent deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting systems
