Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 10-15 high-growth startups and VC firms
- Prepare complex financial statements and compliance reports (GAAP/IFRS)
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy
- Conduct variance analysis and financial forecasting for strategic planning
- Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure regulatory compliance
- Maintain and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Present financial insights to CFOs and executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of public or corporate accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Experience with tech/Venture Capital clients highly valued
- Proven ability to manage complex financial audits
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
