Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead client audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Develop and implement efficient accounting systems and internal controls
- Provide expert tax planning and preparation services for corporate clients
- Mentor junior accountants and supervise accounting staff workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for client consultations and team leadership
- Active CPA license required
