Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance analysis
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Manage complex reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and subsidiary ledgers
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual financial reviews
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial reporting integrity
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for departmental leadership
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and evolving accounting standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Demonstrated success in SOX compliance and internal control frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven experience managing financial reporting cycles and audits
