Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile client accounts payable/receivable with 99.9% accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for diverse client portfolios
- Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure timely month-end closures
- Implement and optimize accounting workflows using QuickBooks Online
- Collaborate with CFOs on budget forecasting and financial strategy
- Conduct internal audits to ensure regulatory compliance (GAAP/FASB)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a public accounting or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and Xero
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional certification (CPA/CMA preferred)
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions with zero discrepancies
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail at transaction level
- Experience with construction/real estate accounting a major plus
