Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead financial analysis for portfolio companies, identifying trends and growth opportunities
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for 15+ entities
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with executive teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Prepare complex financial statements and investor reports
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel with VBA
- Demonstrated expertise in multi-entity accounting and consolidations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with SaaS or technology sector accounting preferred
- Strong communication skills for executive stakeholder interactions
