Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize general ledger operations with month-end close procedures
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Ensure SOX compliance and internal control documentation
- Lead tax preparation processes and regulatory filings
- Analyze financial data for strategic business insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Implement process improvements for financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Proven audit and financial reporting experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
