- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for federal and commercial clients
- Lead audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and federal regulations
- Develop and implement streamlined accounting processes using QuickBooks and SAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Mentor junior accountants and drive continuous improvement in financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expertise in GAAP, federal compliance, and multi-entity accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven ability to manage month-end close and audit processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
