Responsibilities
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts with meticulous accuracy
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions within tight deadlines
- Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Support annual audits and financial reporting requirements
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, advanced formulas)
- Proven track record of meeting month-end closing deadlines
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
