Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll systems
- Prepare financial statements and tax documentation packages
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows
- Conduct audits and ensure compliance with GAAP/FASB standards
- Collaborate with CFOs on strategic financial planning
- Train junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping in a professional setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel advanced functions
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Deep understanding of Texas sales tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with competing priorities
