Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for leadership review
- Maintain accurate general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Oversee tax preparation documentation and support external audit processes
- Implement and optimize financial controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budget forecasting and planning
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data analysis and reporting
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining 100% accuracy
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Professional certification (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor, CB) a plus
