Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll operations
- Prepare financial statements and assist with tax documentation
- Implement and optimize bookkeeping systems for efficiency
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry regulations
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with CPA firm for audits and financial reviews
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience (QuickBooks Pro required)
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax codes
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and handle sensitive data
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Professional certification (e.g., CPB, AAP) preferred
