Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with 100% accuracy
- Provide exceptional client service by resolving account inquiries and offering financial solutions
- Balance cash drawers and daily transactions while adhering to strict compliance protocols
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for bank products and services
- Maintain organized branch operations and assist with vault duties
- Contribute to branch security procedures and fraud prevention
- Train new tellers on operational procedures and customer service standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year cash handling or customer service experience
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and banking software
- Must pass background check and credit review
- Valid Virginia driver's license preferred
