Role Overview:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for the full-cycle processing of invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining accurate financial records. You will work independently in a fast-paced environment, playing a crucial role in the company's cash flow management.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Enter and code data into the ERP system (SAP/Oracle) accurately.
- Prepare and distribute checks and electronic payments.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting support.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Maintain organized AP files and documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors in data.
- Ability to work independently during the night shift.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
