As a key member of our accounts payable department, you'll streamline vendor payments, resolve discrepancies, and ensure financial compliance in a dynamic fintech environment. This role reports directly to the Controller and offers quarterly growth reviews with potential for rapid promotion.
Responsibilities
- Process high-volume vendor invoices and payment transactions within 24-hour SLA
- Reconcile AP sub-ledgers and resolve payment discrepancies with vendors
- Optimize invoice processing workflow using NetSuite ERP system
- Coordinate month-end closing activities and audit preparation
- Maintain vendor master data and payment terms accuracy
- Implement process improvements to reduce payment cycle time
- Collaborate with procurement and treasury teams on payment strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience in tech or finance sector
- Expert proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros
- Strong understanding of GAAP compliance and internal controls
- Proven ability to process 200+ invoices monthly with 99% accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving skills for complex payment disputes
- AP or accounting certification (CPA/CMA) preferred
