About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and a commitment to accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine financial records for accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
- Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure timely payment.
- Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency and use of accepted accounting procedures.
- Organize and maintain financial records, including digital and paper files.
- Provide internal and external auditing support and assistance.
- Monitor financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CPA certification is a plus.
