Responsibilities
- Manage Financial Records: Accurately maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly to ensure financial integrity.
- Payroll Assistance: Support the payroll process to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the finance department to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Certification: CPA or CMA certification preferred; currently working towards certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
